Our Teams
Through our new Clinical Leadership Model (CLM), we are strengthening the voice of clinicians in shaping the care we deliver. By putting the right people at the heart of decision-making, we can work even more closely with our communities and achieve better, more targeted outcomes for patients and service users.
Our goal is clear: patients and families remain at the centre of everything we do, their voices guiding care that follows best practice. By combining clinical leadership with proven methods and the latest technology, we are building a future where healthcare is collaborative, innovative, and truly focused on the people we serve.
Clinical Service Groups (CSG)
Clinical Service Groups (CSG) bring together services with shared clinical purpose, patient pathways and professional expertise across the Northern Care Alliance. By grouping services in this way, we strengthen leadership, improve coordination, and support consistent, high‑quality care for patients and service users across all our hospitals and community settings.
The Clinical Service Groups are:
- Clinical and Scientific Services
- Families, Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Theatres
- Medical Specialities
- Neurosciences and Major Trauma
- Surgery
- Urgent Emergency Care (UEC) and Community
